US President Barack Obama Arrives in Manila PhilippinesUS President arrived in the Philippines April 28, 2014 (Monday) 1:26 in the afternoon at Air Force One at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
All terminals in NAIA Airport has been closed for an hour (Monday, 12:30 to 1:30) and also on Tuesday.
He is here for his 2 days state visit in the Philippines. He will also meet Philippine President Benigno Aquino III and to strengthen ties between the two countries.
After meeting the Philippine President, they will also have a bilateral meeting, a joint conference and a dinner.
The US President was welcomed by honour guards, Vice President Jejomar Binay, US Ambassador Philip Goldberg, Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario, Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, and Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Cuisia.
President Barack  Obama and his party was then boarded to the the Marine One Presidential Helicopter that would bring them to Malacañang.
