Are all Philippine lawyers liars, cheats and thiefs…….
I would have to agree with the statement that lawyers get a bad name rightly so. Last year my wife to be paid a philippine lawyer a large sum of money to get her annulment done. She paid him approx 10500.00 U. S dollars and has all the receipts to prove this was paid for. This was in august of 08. In dec of 08 he called her to tell her it would be feb because the judge was in the hospital and she had to wait for the papaerwork. Again he called her and stated in would be March of 09 and that he was still waiting for the signature.
March and the promised annulment did not come. She ended up having to go to the NBI and file a formal complaint. This was done, and now we have to go through the legal process, 5 times the lawyer promised her she would get our money back and we still have not.
I love my wife to be and this has caused a real strain, I get mad and blame her but I know she is not the blame. This lawyer was recommended to her and she trusted this individual and believed in this individual.
We were hoping to have all of this completed and them here this Sept, but this is not going to happen and we do not know when we will be able to start over again. My whole entire life savings was used to meet all the requirements, the visits, the presents, our rings and now everything I have worked very hard for is for not because a lawyer that made a promise decided not to do what he promised.
I am sorry to go on , but it has been pretty upsetting, because of this my daughter who will be one year old next month and my wife to be have to pay the price for this injustice.
I worked 144 a week for 12 weeks to come up with the money we paid and this is what I got in return……………..

List the thief’s name on ripoffreports.com. Thousands of people check it and such a slam might give your attorney some “religion,” and either perform or get your money back. Just make sure you have all the documentation to validate your position. Good luck.
