Full Text and details of 2009 Philippine 9th and final State of the Nation Address by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

at the House of Representatives Batasan Pambasa Complex, Diliman, Quezon City.
President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is wearing a purple terno was welcomed at Batasan by officials and delegates. She is escorted by Senate president Juan Ponce Enrile and Lower House speaker Prospero Nograles. After being greeted by applause lasting about half a minute, President Arroyo dedicated a prayer to former President Cory Aquino before commencing with her speech.
