John Acosta is a black belt under Master Fabio Santos and is an affiliate and official representative of Fabio Santos Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy located in San Diego, California.

Fabio Santos is one of the few red and black belt instructors arround and has won several world jiujitsu competitions from 1996 to 2005. Fabio directly received his black belt from the legendary Rickson Gracie himself and his red and black belt from Relson Gracie.

John is currently the only black belt teaching in Cebu. And with his training from Master Fabio Santos, he was able to replicate the teaching methods used by Master Fabio Santos himself.

Jiu-jitsu is a wonderful martial art and lifestyle to learn. In fact it quickly became so famous because of its history which changed the game in UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).

Jiujitsu is a martial art, a self defense system, and a combat sport. It widely uses leverage combined with the techniques to enable a weaker and smaller person to defeat a larger and stronger opponent through submission holds such as chokes and joint locks.

Jiu-jitsu is also a lifestyle which will change the way you think, the way you eat, the way you look and the way you treat other people.

Friday: 6:45pm-8:15pm
Location: Governor M. Cuenco Avenue in Banilad; between Cebu Country Club and Crossroads Mall. The gym is directly behind Cafe George Restaurant.

Tuesday & Thursday: 9:30am-11:00am & 8:15pm-9:45pm
Saturday: 9:30am-11:00am
Location: Robinsons Shopping Center or also known as South Central Square in Lawaan, Talisay City. The gym is directly above the LTO office.
