
Thin White Sauce
• 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
• 2 tablespoons flour
• 2 cups milk
• 1/2 teaspoons salt
Medium to Thick White Sauce
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1/4 cup margarine or butter
• 2 cups milk
• 1/2teaspoons salt
METHOD
1. Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.
2. Combine in flour and then slowly add milk, stirring continually.
3. Add salt and cook, stirring until thickened. Yield: 2 cups.
