Ingredients

Thin White Sauce
•2 tablespoons margarine or butter
•2 tablespoons flour
•2 cups milk
•1/2 teaspoons salt

Medium to Thick White Sauce
•1/4 cup flour
•1/4 cup margarine or butter
•2 cups milk
•1/2teaspoons salt

 

METHOD

1.Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.
2.Combine in flour and then slowly add milk, stirring continually.
3.Add salt and cook, stirring until thickened. Yield: 2 cups.
